Many of Tamarack Lodge’s rooms and suites face East Grand Traverse Bay and include a private balcony or patio with beautiful waterfront views. If the room type name includes the word “Lakeview”, then the room or suite has a lake view. If the room type name says “Non-View” or does not say “Lakeview”, then the room or suite does not have a lake view.

My family and friends aren’t staying at Tamarack Lodge. Can they use the beach, pool, and other amenities?

No. Tamarack Lodge amenities are exclusively available to registered guests.

Is there a lifeguard on duty?

No. Neither our indoor pool nor the beach has a lifeguard on duty. Please swim at your own risk, and an adult must always supervise children.

Do you offer towels and beach chairs?

Yes. Pool and beach towels are provided. Beach chairs are also provided. Chairs, tables, and chaises are not available for reservation and are available for all guests on a first-come basis.

Can I bring my boat or jet ski?

Tamarack Lodge does not have parking available for trailers, boats, or jet skis. We are unable to accommodate your watersports and do not have a boat launch on the property. We recommend renting boats or jet skis from TC Watersports if you are interested.

Tamarack Lodge is located about 5 minutes from downtown Traverse City by car, offering convenient access to restaurants, shopping, breweries, and local events like the National Cherry Festival.

Yes. Complimentary parking is available for all Tamarack Lodge guests. One parking space is permitted for each room, unit, or suite reserved. Parking is not available for more than one vehicle, RVs, trailers, or oversized vehicles.

No. Tamarack Lodge is a 100% smoke-free property. This includes e-cigarettes, vaping, and marijuana usage.

What time is check-in and check-out?

Check-in begins at 4:00 PM, and check-out is at 10:30 AM.

What is the cancellation policy?

Reservations may be subject to different cancellation policies depending on the rate type, if it is a group block, or the platform through which the reservation was made. Please refer to the terms of your reservation in your confirmation email.

No. Tamarack Lodge does not host weddings at this time. However, group or wedding hotel blocks are available.
