Our Policies



Cancellation and Change Policy

As a fractional ownership property, we ask for your understanding in respecting our cancellation, change and no-show policies.  Please read carefully.

If you must change, shorten or cancel your reservation, do so within the time frame indicated below for a full refund of the deposit paid.  If a reservation is cancelled or shortened after the cancellation period expires, the guest is responsible for full payment of the original reservation. Changes or cancellations must be made via phone, and you must receive a confirmation email from Tamarack Lodge. There are no refunds for early departure.

Inclement Weather Policy: Please understand that we cannot be responsible for inclement weather or other causes for delays and cancellations at your point of origin or the locations you may connect through when traveling to visit us. We strongly advise you to purchase travel insurance if you are traveling during periods of inclement weather or you have other reasons to suspect you may need to cancel your reservation. We thank you for your understanding!


Cancellation Periods and Fees

  • Summer (Peak Season) June 21 - Aug. 29, 2018.
    Cancellations/Changes must be made by 4:00 PM 30 days prior to arrival date to receive a full refund of paid deposit for all Summer (Peak Season).  Any Summer (Peak Season) cancellations/changes made less than 30 days prior to arrival date will result in the forfeit of any deposits paid.  
  •  All Non-Peak Seasons Cancellations/Changes must be made by 4:00 PM 48 hours prior to arrival date to receive a full refund of paid deposit for all other seasons (Non-Peak). All cancellations/changes made less than 48 hours prior to arrival date will be charged one night's room rate plus taxes and fees.

General Policies

Arrival Check in: 4:00 PM
Departure Check Out: 
Summer (Peak Season) Check Out 10:00 AM.  All other seasons Check Out 11:00 AM.

Room Move:  Should your stay involve a Room Move you are required to Check Out by 10:00 AM (Peak Season) and 11:00 AM (Non-Peak) and you are not guaranteed Check In prior to 4:00 PM.


  • Summer (Peak Season):  Reservations for Summer (Peak Season) June 21 - Aug. 29, 2018 require a deposit equal to 50% of your entire stay to guarantee your reservation.  Final payment is due 14 days prior to arrival and will be automatically charged to the credit card at that time. Any reservations made within 14 days of arrival will be charged the full amount of the stay at time reservation is made.
  • Non-Peak Seasons:  All Non-Peak reservations require a one night's room rate plus taxes and fees to guarantee reservation.  This deposit will be charged at the time the reservation is made and final payment is due upon Check In. 

Credit Card Authorization and Payment:  A valid credit card is required to make a reservation. We accept all major credit cards. Your credit card and a valid ID must be presented at check in, at which time you will be charged the remaining balance of your stay. At Check In a $50 authorization is required. If using a debit card, please note that your bank will hold your funds at this time.

Minimum Age:  You must be 21 to rent our property or occupy a guestroom without a parent

Pets: No pets are allowed at Tamarack Lodge.

Quiet Hours:  Tamarack Lodge offers safe and quiet enjoyment for all guests and owners.   Quiet hours are from 11 PM to 7 AM.  Should management observe or receive complaints about the behavior regarding any member of your part, it reserves the right to require that your party immediately vacate the premises and you may forfeit any prepaid rental fees and security deposit. 

Non Smoking/Burning Candles: Tamarack Lodge is a Non Smoking facility. Smoking, including E-Cigs (Electronic Cigarettes), Cigars, Hookah Pipes, etc., and Burning Candles are Not Allowed on Tamarack premises.  The following areas are included: residences, balconies, beach, hallways, grounds, lobby and other common areas.  A recovery fee of $250 per incident will be charged to your account for each violation.  Repeat violations will result in being required to vacate premises with no refund.

Parking: Each residence is allotted one parking space.  Additional parking may be available at our nearby private parking lot.  All RV's, van, boats and trailers must park at our nearby private parking lot as space permits. 

Maximum Occupancy: Occupancy levels are required by the city and are a condition of our insurance.  Occupancy levels are strictly enforced.  
1 Bedroom Suite: 4 people
2 Bedroom Suite: 6 people
3 Bedroom Suite: 8 people
Lock-Off Suite:  2 Adults

Damages / Missing Items: Guests are responsible for all damages or missing items from your residences.  Each residence is inventoried at the beginning and end of each stay.  A major credit card is required at Check In.  Any damage to the property or rule violations incurred during your stay may be charged to your credit card within 14 days of check out.
